Synopsis:
A recently divorced father confides to a friend that he's been seeing demons in the family home.
Director's Statement:
The Evil Inside is a deceptive and deeply personal puzzle. My intention was to create a film that seems like a traditional supernatural horror, but soon reveals itself to be a very literal portrait of fear and a cautionary tale against outsourcing your morality to the supernatural. Based on my experiences growing up in a deeply evangelical household where stories of seeing demons and hearing voices were commonplace. I set out to capture the feeling of dread when trapped in a house with someone losing their grip on reality.
