DFF will give awards to the best films in the categories of short films, documentaries, animated films and tourism & travel films. The awarded films will be decided by the international jury whose members are three filmmakers from Iran, France and Croatia.

Hadi Sheibani (Iran) Hadi Sheibani is a film graduate with more than a decade of experience in the industry as a film editor and director. He is a recipient of the AFA scholarship, being the only Iranian Fellow at the Asian Film Academy in 2019, and the first Iranian film editor to attend the International Film Editors Forum with the Travel Grant in 2022. Hadi has edited 15 short films and made his directorial debut with 'Katvoman', an Iranian-Indian co-production inspired by the MeToo Movement that addresses the pressing issues of domestic violence and women's rights. Hadi has won 6 international awards and his works have been selected for a hundred film festivals. |

Laurine Chevallier (France) Laurine Chevallier was born in France. She took her first steps into artistic practice by completing a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Brest (France), where she specialised in cinematography and documentary film in particular. Her craving for new adventures and experiences leads her in 2021 to start a Master degree in film at the Split Academy of Arts. In 2022, she takes a year off in order to get to know more about film distribution and programming. It led her to work for a year with Ty Films, a French documentary film association, as a programming assistant for their film festival: Les Rencontres du Film documentaire de Mellionnec (Documentary Film Meetings of Mellionnec). She is back this year in Split to complete her Master Degree.

Helena Bodlović (Croatia) Helena Bodlović was born in Split in 1985. After graduating from high school in Split, in 2008 she graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Dubrovnik, as Bachelor of Science. Since 2012, she has been working as a commercial photographer and videographer in various projects. In 2022, Helena enrolled in the MA at the Arts Academy in Split (UMAS), majoring in Film and Video. Since then, she have been intensively working and exhibiting in the field of photography, film, video and multimedia. In addition to other projects, she's currently working on her short feature films and graduation film. |
